Nicht nur, daß M$ arrogant ist (wie schon in http://www.tuxedo.org/~esr/halloween.html bemerkt), sondern M$ sagt doch damit auch, daß Windows 95 und viele andere Produkte "früh" veröffentlich wurden und man einfach mal auf release-feedback warteten. Kein Wunder das viele User viele Bugs finden und schon sehr genervt sind!

Was M$ als Features von Linux sieht: * Supports multiple file systems (FAT16, FAT32, NTFS, Ext2FS) * Disk Management: Striping, mirroring, FAT16, FAT32, NTFS Irgendwie hab ich das Gefühl M$ interessiert sich hauptsächlich seine eigenen (schlechten) Erdichtungen...

Part of the reason that Apache was able to get a foothold and take off was because the HTTP protocol is so simple. As more and more features become layered on top of the humble web server (e.g. multi-server transaction support, POD, etc.) it will be interesting to see how the Apache team will be able to keep up.
