Hallo Liste, versuche gerade auf meinem Laptop XFree zum Laufen zu bringen. Bislang ohne Erfolg. X11 bricht nicht ab, sondern flackert: Man kann KDE darunter erkennen (daher keine Fehlermeldung in XFree86.0.log). Ich habe auch schon die kleinste Aufloesung 640x480 mit 8 Bit Farbtiefe versucht, sowie alle moeglichen anderen Kombinationen. Bei 1024x768 kommen Laengsstreifen. Akustisch hoert man dann das KDE hochgelaufen ist. Weiterhin habe ich noch "UseFBDev" mit/ohne probiert. Auch ohne Erfolg. Kernel 2.6.8 oder 2.6.11 war auch kein Unterschied.
